The mechanical properties of low carbon bainite steel after quenching in salt bath and tempering at low temperature have good comprehensive mechanical properties, elongation and high impact toughness, which is one of the necessary conditions to replace 20CrMnTi steel. After carburizing, the bending strength and impact toughness of low carbon bainite steel are significantly higher than those of 20CrMnTi steel. The contact fatigue property of low carbon bainitic steel is better than that of 20CrMnTi steel.
